Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Diagram (https://diagram.la), run by Automatique Inc. ("we"). By signing in or connecting an AI tool, you agree to them.
The service
Diagram hosts diagrams, as HTML pages, at links you can share. You or the AI tools you connect publish them through our MCP server or API; people you choose can view and edit them.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account and must be at least 13 (or the age required where you live). You're responsible for what happens under your account, including everything published by AI tools and API keys you connect. Keep keys private; revoke any you think leaked on the API keys page.
Your content
- It's yours. You keep all rights to the diagrams you publish.
- What you let us do with it. You give us permission to store, copy, render, and display your diagrams as needed to run the service: showing them to the people you share them with, keeping their history, making link previews for public ones, and backing them up. We don't use your diagrams to train AI models and don't sell them.
- Public means public. A diagram you make public can be opened by anyone with its link, and its title appears in link previews.
- AI-made content. Diagrams are often written by AI. Check them before relying on them; you're responsible for what you publish.
Acceptable use
Don't use Diagram to publish anything illegal, infringing, harassing, or sexually exploitative of anyone, or to host malware, phishing pages, or anything meant to trick people. Diagrams run in a sandbox, but don't try to break it, get around limits, or access other people's projects. Don't use the service to overload or attack it or anyone else. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Report abuse to [email protected].
Plans and payment
Diagram is free up to the free plan's limits. Pro is a monthly subscription, billed through Stripe, that you can cancel any time from the billing page; it runs until the end of the period you paid for. Prices and limits can change, with notice for paid plans.
Ending
You can delete your diagrams, projects, and orgs at any time, and ask us to delete your account at [email protected]. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. Public links stop working when their diagram, project, or account is deleted.
No warranty
Diagram is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything important (for diagrams in a repo, they already live in your diagrams/ folder).
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it (or $50 if you're on the free plan).
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll say so on the site before it takes effect. Using Diagram after that means you accept the new terms.
