Privacy Policy

This explains what Diagram (https://diagram.la), run by Automatique Inc., collects and why. Short version: we keep what's needed to run the service, we don't sell anything, and there are no ads or tracking scripts.
What we collect
- Your account: your Google account's email address, name, and a user ID, from signing in with Google.
- Your content: the diagrams you publish (their HTML, title, and every version), projects, orgs, and who you add to them.
- Connections: API keys and connected AI tools, stored as one-way hashes with a label, when they were made, and when they were last used.
- Billing: if you upgrade, Stripe handles payment; we keep your plan and a Stripe customer ID, never your card number.
- Technical logs: our hosting keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and debugging.
What we use it for
Running Diagram: signing you in, emailing you about your account and when someone adds you to a project or org (never marketing), storing and showing your diagrams to the people you share them with, keeping version history, enforcing plan limits, billing, preventing abuse, and fixing problems. We don't use your diagrams to train AI models, and we don't sell or rent personal information.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Who else handles it
We use a few providers to run the service, each only for its job:
- Google Firebase (sign-in and the database)
- Cloudflare R2 (storage for diagram HTML)
- OVH, through Coolify (the servers that run the site)
- Stripe (payments, only if you upgrade)
We'll share information if the law requires it, and otherwise only as described here.
Public diagrams
A diagram you make public can be opened by anyone with its link; its title appears in link previews. Its project, owner, and org are never shown.
Keeping and deleting
Your content stays until you delete it. Deleting a diagram or project removes it and all its versions, including the stored HTML. To delete your account and everything in it, email [email protected]. Backups and logs age out on their own schedule.
Your choices
You can see and change your content in the app at any time, and ask for a copy of your data or its deletion at [email protected]. Diagram isn't meant for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on the site first.
